Image Tools can help you enhance your images and photos with a variety of features. These include straightening, cleaning, and cropping to improve the overall quality of your images. You can also use image processing tools to remove or highlight specific elements within an image for more impact.

Using the Object Selection tool simplifies the process of selecting objects in your images, including people, cars, pets, buildings, mountains, sky, and water. It lets you select a rectangle or lasso around an object and preserves details on the edges of the selection.

To select an object or region, first ensure the Object Finder is enabled in the Options bar and choose a selection mode: Rectangle or Lasso. Then drag along the edge of the object or region to make your selection.

You can also draw a lasso around an object or region in a photo and let the Object Finder automatically detect and select it for you. You can then select multiple objects in a single action, save the selected items and view the Edit History window to see which areas you've selected.

For example, if you want to add a blue sky to an image of the planet Mercury, use the Object Finder to find the Venus and Mercury in the image, then choose a rectangular or circular selection mode for Venus, then a polygon for Mercury.

For more detailed editing, you can use the Enhancements menu to apply a variety of effects and filters, such as color, contrast, brightness, and saturation. You can also play with the Blur effect to transform an image and create perspective.
